Through bodies, we can share and extend our ‘bodily experiences’ (Merleau-Ponty, 1962).
This series draws on Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s concept of “intercorporeality” through focusing on the relation between one body and that of another’s. The experience of being embodied is not something that occurs in isolation. Rather one in which our bodies are continuously interacting and adapting to each other and the spaces we inhabit.
Two images from the series are available to purchase.
